LIGHTROOM
CLASS

WHAT TO EXPECT:
This class is a casual, creative atmosphere of photography discussion. We will provide notes and refreshments. All you need to bring is your computer with Lightroom 4 or 5. These classes are geared towards those shooting in RAW or ready to start shooting RAW, but JPEG shooters are welcome as well. If you don't know what that means, you're welcome to come too and I'll explain :)

HOW TO PREPARE:
Before you come, please make sure you have the updated version of Lightroom 4 or 5 installed. I will also send out an email the week of the class with some work images to put on your computer prior to the start as well.

FAQ:
Q: Do we have to bring a computer to the class?
A: . No, but it is helpful to have one to practice on as we're going through. If you don't have a laptop or don't want to bring your computer, you can also borrow a laptop from a friend or bring a friend and share their laptop/computer with them! If you don't end up with a computer for the class, you can also watch others and take notes to practice techniques later.

Q: I have Lightroom on my desktop but not on my laptop, what should I do?
A: . You could either bring your computer or install Lightroom on a laptop and bring it. According to the adobe website, you should be able to install Lightroom on another computer. They say, "Subject to the terms of the software license agreement, the primary user of the computer on which Lightroom is installed may install a second copy of the software for his or her exclusive use on either a portable computer or a home computer, provided that the software is not used on both computers at the same time. Lightroom is sold as multiplatform software, which means it can be installed on either Mac OS X or Windows."

Q: Do I have to register in advance or can I register at the door?
A: Yes, you must register in advance. We will close the online registration once the class is full. If the space is available, we will keep registration open until 8pm the evening before the class.

Q: What is the age requirement?
A: You must be at least 16 years old to attend.

Q: Can I bring my kids?
A: Each person attending must register in advance, and you must be 16 to attend.
